The Five Psychological Stages Leading To The Acceptance of Gold

The hardest and most difficult step in dealing with reality is admitting that you are not in touch with it but are instead projecting your memories and imagination onto the actual real and present world.
That is why it is so much easier to get people to gamble than to prudently develop backup plans or to hedge against possible outcomes. Gambling ultimately depends on luck, and luck is nothing more or less than Providence's brief and shining blessing into our lives. In other words, luck is something that happens to us, saves us, and provides a miracle of abundance. That approach is fun and a blessing but it is also a total projection of fantasy onto reality. Because the fact is luck is rare and it is extremely mercurial and not even remotely under our control or influence. And ultimately it is debilitating and passive to hope for deliverance when the present reality is always brimming, at all times, with so many possibilities. You just need to be in touch with the real world, and when you are courses of dynamic and fruitful action are easily discerned and made apparent.
"Physician heal thyself," as they say. So with that in mind let us take a little diagnostic on our human behavior, see where we might be, and thereby free ourselves to make reality-based creative choices, which will allow us to actively and creatively engage the emerging future instead of being its victim.
Here are the five stages of acceptance of reality. Specifically, we want to look at your financial reality. In my experience over 95% of the general population has absolutely no idea what money is, how it works, and what is going on with our financial system. And yet is so easy to find out, especially in today's world where there is so much information available, most of it literally right at your fingertips via the world wide web.
It is beyond the scope of this article to cover and examine the many differences between debt instruments like the dollar and real money such as gold, but what can be achieved is the first glimmer of a new and awakening consciousness. And a curiosity to discover for yourself what is really going on.
So here is our test statement of reality: The dollar is collapsing and all of your assets that turn into dollar (denominated) are at risk of total failure. Gold is the world's safest money and has been so for over 6000 years. Therefore hedge a portion of your wealth, also known as "purchasing power," into this timeless and faultless form of money insurance. All paper money fails 100% of the time. Gold has been the wealth refuge of absolute confidence, in all places and at all times, whenever the prevailing financial system falters and fails, which all systems do at some point.
Now, how did you process that statement? Do you see yourself in any of these diagnostic descriptions of your human behavior and psychological stance?
1. Denial. "Everything is fine."; "This can't be happening, not to me, not to us."; "This is the United States of America, that kind of thing doesn't happen here, to us..."
2. Anger. "Why me? It's not fair!"; "NO WAY!! How can this happen to us? We're the greatest, most powerful nation on earth"; '"Who is to blame?"
3. Bargaining. "Just let me get to retirement age."; "I'll do anything for a better paying job, and then I'll really be set"; "I will be ok, I'll figure a way to get by..."; "If I just ignore it, they will figure it all out and we'll be just like we used to be..."
4. Depression. "I'm so depressed by everything, why bother with anything anyway?"; "I'm going to die anyway, so what's the point?"; "I miss the ways things used to be." "Everyone is stupid, greedy, and no one cares about me at all..."
5. Acceptance. "It's going to be okay - we're strong and resilient people."; "I can't fight it, I may as well prepare for it."; "I can take action, I can do it, I feel hopeful"; "It's really for the best, things can't go on like this anyway, and I want a future that is much better than this for my children..."
This process is highly personal and cannot be rushed. Use this diagnostic map to gain some perspective on yourself, your community, and your country.
And when you are ready for acceptance than you are ready for life.
Welcome to the real world - it's really nice to have you here. Now let's get work.
